Fresh Bread Fans: We Want Your Feedback!

This week Great Harvest is launching a nationwide customer survey. We'd love your participation!

Customer surveys are invaluable to businesses. Attitudes change, the competitive Great Harvest employees photolandscape shifts, trends impact product and service expectations, and the list goes on. Whether or not these factors end up being positive, negative or somewhere in between, it’s all actionable information. Therefore, it’s not hard to make a case for “listening.”

Customer research greatly guides and justifies communication strategies and tactics.  Notice I said “communication,” not marketing.  That’s really the goal, isn’t it? – To create a relevant, personal dialog with those who are interested in what you have to say…and not everyone is. 

DC logoMy soon-to-be 14-year-old son loves the DC brand of sportswear (shoes, shJames photoirts, jackets, jeans, and hats). The clothing line was designed for young people involved in extreme sports. Today it’s an incredibly popular brand for a segment of kids and young adults tapping into their inner rebel.  It’s not a brand that would show up on my radar, and rightly so. Nordstrom …now that’s a different story.  I admire how DC communicates so purely with their audience. This YouTube video is a great example. 

They earn the respect and interest of teens and young adults like James because DC understands their values (being cool, fashionable, and a bit edgy). In the words of Austin Powers, they “sprechen-sie the same lingity.”
