Redundancy...Why it matters
I don't drive the space shuttle or protect the president so my mistakes are not life threatening. But, back up plans still matter...
I am traveling this week in a pattern outside of my normal orbit so things are a little off. As they are at home. Both kids are home for a couple of weeks so, while awesome, our routines are a little different. Part of that is we all trade cars for various reasons. Except for our youngest who has his in the body shop but that is a blog for another audience.
Most if not all CEO's have trouble disconnecting so we have multiple methods of staying in touch. Laptop. iPad. Cell. In most cases, two cells. I kicked my public cell into the pool this morning while getting ready to swim laps. Oops. I left my laptop at home by mistake. With no laptop, my charging abilities for the iPad are also at home. So, we are down to option four. At least I always carry car chargers. (-;
Have a great holiday weekend and please remember all of our service men and women as you grill out and enjoy our freedoms.
Thanks for reading.
