That could be a rhetorical question but I really want to know.  It is always good to ask customers and fans what they like so here is your chance to sound off.

Tell me what makes Great Harvest special to you.

In November we asked Great Harvest customers to give us feedback on our brand and what it represents to them. We also gathered information on product preferences and about you – our incredible customers. More than 4,500 of you responded and 30 percent of you used the term “love” in describing our products and service. We love you right back!

Healthy Bakery Focus: Customer Service Or Customer Experience?

Posted by Mike Ferretti, CEO

I think the two are different and just spent the last two days in meetings discussing the finer points of what is what in those two worlds.  When you walk into a Great Harvest bakery, we hope you enter a smile zone.  A place where you can take a deep breath and relax.  Somewhere you can count on tasty, fresh natural products.  And, we want you to be treated to a smile and a huge free slice.  And we want it to be natural. No rule on “greet someone within 3 seconds” or anything like that.  What we want is for you to be engaged when your body language says you are ready.

Yes, many Steve Jobs blog posts have been written.  Yes, he deserved and earned every one of them.  I make no secret that I am a huge fan of his, of Apple and their vision of An Apple on Every Desk.

Painting with a Purpose

Our bakeries support many charities throughout the country from donating baskets for local auctions to providing bread for homeless shelters and food banks.  For some bakeries, the charities they support come about because of a personal connection.
